Even Abe Lincoln was fascinated by abandoned homes as evidenced by a poem he wrote about one such structure in Indiana. You do a great job not evoking the emotions with this work.

great eye and capture Ken. What you are fighting in Novia Scotia is typical in the United States in Rural areas as well. It is very sad a farm, acreage, and family is almost every North American families dream. That dream seems to shrink more and more every day. l/f/t/fb
