A well used fishing boat lays in the shrubs and weeds decaying in the fishing community of Feltzen South, Nova Scotia.
A digital illustration I created using my Wacom Tabllet, Photoshop CC 2017, Corel Painter 2017 & ArtRage 5. Based on a photo I took in 2016 of an old fishing boat in my home province of Nova Scotia in Canada.
Ken has been interested in art since an early age (born in mid 1950s) and one of the first things he drew before the age of five was images of cars. Automobiles, mostly the American classics and hot rods are Ken's passion. In 1983 he restored a 1960 Corvette which he still owns and drives in the summer. Ken has been employed in the IT industry since the 1980s where he became exposed to digital art. He is a self taught digital photographer and digital artist using tools like Photoshop, Lightroom, Corel Painter and Artrage as well as 3D modeling and rendering apps like Hexagon, Vue Complete, 3DCoat, DAZ Studio, Groboto3D, Silo3D & 3D Coat. In some of Ken's digital illustrations he will combine hand drawings with digital photo elements...

I'm fascinated with this image, Ken ... love the strong diagonal lines and color of the boat against the soft and impressionistic-y weeds and grasses ... the hint of more straight lines from the crab pots adds even more appeal ... this is VERY well done!!!!! l/f and t
